James Avery, star of 'The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air,' dies at 68
Actor James Avery, who played the beloved Uncle Phil on the hit 1990s sitcom
"The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air," has died, his publicist said
Wednesday. He was 68.
The cause of death was complications from open-heart surgery, said his
manager, Toni Benson. Avery had surgery on November 11 and died Tuesday evening
at a hospital in Glendale, California, according to Benson.
Mercy Johnson Donates Materials to 5000 Widows in Hubby’s Home Town

material things for livelihood to 5000 widows in Uromi, her husband’s
home town. According to the information gathered, she made the entire
widows and the people of Uromi visibly joyful. The actress was able to
achieve this through her Mercy Johnson Okojie’s Foundation, which is
geared towards helping towards the improvement of less endowed people
and women in the society. Each widow of over 5000 received a bag of
rice, 6 yards of super print, a bag of salt, groundnut oil, tin tomatoes
and maggi cubes
